When I activate a group of fonts... is there a way of getting to those quickly inside the adobe applications. Rather then scrolling down the font list to find them?
It would be nice if they were in a sub menu in the font list... Is that possible?thanks!

FontExplorer X and CS5
I really hate setting up a nice list of fonts that I will use on a project in font explorer and then I come into photoshop - and I have to look for each font. BAH
- They've just updated FontExplorer to support CS5 -> http://www.fontexplo… ; )ideaist

quickest way, in my experience, is to start typing the name of the font instead of scrolling with the mouse
- yea but if you forget the font name - then u have to go back and check in another app. It should just be organized into a sub menu.Claymantis
- sub menu...Claymantis

i will agree and have always thought there is much room for improvement here. sucks when a family of individual fonts is not collected as one face. surprised none of the managers have worked with adobe etc for a solution. i'd assume it's a licensing thing.

I've not tried this out, though I'm curious. I'm not sure it addresses your concern – but then again, I can't be arsed into reading the whole thing.

You can activate fonts direct from Photoshop CS5, Illustrator CS5 and InDesign CS5. We have a tool "show used fonts" then you can turn these on as a group. You can trial the software for MAC on http://www.typedna.com

This thread is pretty old.
In your opinion, which font management software is the most reliable to date?
