LOL I can't stop laughing at people who were screaming in amazement in the background. Fucking loosers!

- Somehow, I can tolerate ST fans more than SW fans. Not that I'd ultimately want to be caught dead in a room with either ...Continuity

haters.
although luke looking like the emperor is an interesting artistic touch that the star wars universe has no room for.

Umm. Yeah don't get it. Except if George was going for a PWNED!
- Dodecahedron0
indeed it is funny that they sound so pumped and amazed

Maybe if there had been a few more scenes like that -- tempting the viewer with the possibility of Luke going to the dark side and the bond with his father -- rather than teddy bears, it'd have been a better film.

better film here: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/…
“The first film and ‘Empire’ were about story and character, but I could see that George’s priorities were changing.”
“The toy business began to drive the [Lucasfilm] empire. It’s a shame. They make three times as much on toys as they do on films. It’s natural to make decisions that protect the toy business, but that’s not the best thing for making quality films.”
“Instead of bittersweet and poignant he wanted a euphoric ending with everybody happy. The original idea was that they would recover [the kidnapped] Han Solo in the early part of the story and that he would then die in the middle part of the film in a raid on an Imperial base. George then decided he didn’t want any of the principals killed. By that time there were really big toy sales and that was a reason.”

I always wished Star Wars was more like Apocalypse Now

jedi was crap.

that deleted scene added so much to the story, it now makes perfect sense - no wonder everybody was cheering.
- tinkering with the light saber offered incredible insight, toomonospaced

The sad thing is most of those people are over 30...
- People who cheer at light sabres are probably 'late developers'. And I don't mean lazy programmers.MrT
