I am working on a project that needs some buttons attached to it by way of a die cut. I came up with a solution but was wondering if anyone knows of a different/better solution than what I have here, which is to insert the pin part into the slot and twist it down to lock in place. I might be over thinking it. Any help would be appreciated.
What the buttons look like...

If memory services me right, generally you see a slit connecting the two holes you already have. That way nobody had to mess with trying to pin the button to the stock; instead it just pops right in (and out).
- this sounds almost too logical
:)Amicus - You don't want people popping the buttons out without buying the whole thing though.duckofrubber
- I'm an idiot, you already have this, just in a more dynamic way.grymes
- Yes, that was my first idea but it didn't really stay in place when I threw it against the wall. Which is my method for testing it in the mail.hellrod

wooooa you are doing work for kr3w?
what about those rubbery balls that stick to paper? like the ones you see on magazine covers holding CDs in place? not sure what they are called, and I'm not saying it's better that what you have now, but seem like a different approach, (maybe cheaper?)- right, that kind of hot glue stuff that peels off, right?monospaced
- he's talking about foam CD hubsscarabin
- (my guess)scarabin
- scarabin, that's a good idea too, I was actually thinking of the little glue ball that looks like a booger and holds the CD case to the mag coverMiguex

I mean... it's a button. It comes with it's own attaching device...
- True but attaching that way it to say 300-500 cards by hand sucks, and creases the card.hellrod

would it help to add a 3rd circle on the left push in area?
