sure I know of some of his pieces and like his art show.
but I don't know the full range of sag's work.
is there a good source online? I always wonder how busy he is and what his workload looks like on a day to day basis.

I find most of his work pretty lame.

You can buy a copy of his portfolio at Borders. ;)

When you're sagmeister you don't work. You perpetually vacation.
And occasionally fondle David Byrne and Brian Eno.

I am going to one up him by tattooing projects on me.

My buddy did this installation with him in Amsterdam; always found it provoking though quite literal...

"Sagmeister goes on a year-long sabbatical around every seven years, where he does not take work from clients. Currently on one in Bali, Indonesia, he is resolute about this, even if the work is tempting, and has displayed this by declining an offer to design a poster for Barack Obama's presidential campaign. Sagmeister spends the year experimenting with personal work and refreshing himself as a designer.[1]"
Nice if you can do it
- time off is essential to time on; r & r goes a long way... wise man say... ; )ideaist

Sagmeister's work was the reason I switched from Computer Animation to Graphic Design at Ringling (no.1 CA school in the world)
While I'm inspired by SO MANY other designers, sources, thing these days, I can say without hesitation that everything that guy makes, makes me smile. He designs from the heart and that warmth is evident in his body of work.
He was the right designer, with the right personality at the right time.
