Sagmeister's work was the reason I switched from Computer Animation to Graphic Design at Ringling (no.1 CA school in the world)
While I'm inspired by SO MANY other designers, sources, thing these days, I can say without hesitation that everything that guy makes, makes me smile. He designs from the heart and that warmth is evident in his body of work.
He was the right designer, with the right personality at the right time.
