Don't mean to hijack the thread, but since we are on the subject:
I did some ringtones from scratch a few months ago, using ableton live with the intention of distributing it for free, not sure if anyone is interested, 2 of them came a bit distorted from the mix, but the rest sound good, an example can be heard here:http://www.client.accent.tv/publ…
All of them have different melodies, with similar sound.
Is somewhere in the middle between music and phone ringtones.

The example above is not exported to use yet, but if interested when I get home I'll zip them all up ready to go ( I think I made 10 or so)
