Is there a good website that teaches photography to someone new. Moving away from auto mode to other aspects like Shutter Priority/Aperture Priority and finally full manual mode.
Basically I am looking for something with images that would explain how they were achieved.

it's hard to read that stuff online, get out there and experiment yourself.
if you want to read up on something, just pick up a couple of magazines.

It's a quicker way to browse through well written articles without people telling you to try the internet. lol

Here's a playlist I did just by browsing on youtube when I first got my t1i, I sat down with my camera in hand and in 20 minutes I've learned way more than I knew from 3 years shooting with my previous camera.
Just search "for photography tutorials" and you are good to go, you can learn so much from youtube, is not even funny
