The google list reminded me of a lot of good movies. I guess I dig this sort of story.
Worth watching:
Rollerball (1975) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rol…
The Quiet Earth http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The…
Code 46 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cod…
Ghost in the Shell http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gho…
Akira http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aki…
Gattaca http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gat…
The Island http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The…- none of which are really horror, so maybe a bit off topic.monNom

It doesn't have to be horror by any means, I was just trying to filter out the Stars Wars/ E.T./ Batteries Not Included kind of film ;)

- Same with Labyrinth. Watching the trailer makes it seem like a horror film, but it's fucking muppets most of the timemonospaced

Isn't all horror inherently dark? I guess there's some horror/comedy movies, but they're all sick by default (someone show me an example otherwise, I can't think of one).
