I dont wanna spend much more than 200euro, something easy, reliable, decent quality (would be nice to be able to print something and put it up on the wall)

I've an A4 laser colour printer for about 130 quid... that's about 150 euros or less, but be prepared to be raped with the cost of toner cartridges...
quality is pretty good tho.
samsung cpl something (the cheapest you'd find i reckon)

errm i thought laser means u dont need fecking cartridges?
feck. how much do those cost? and how often u need to replace em?- now that would be good - a printer that doesn't need cartirdges!********
- those ones are 25+vat each... and last about 1000 prints each in theory...maikel

the latest business model they all use is the same as the xbox proved. the machine comes close to making a loss and then once they're in you house the bend you over the couch and royally fuck you.
an example laser printer (a4) at an office works near me lists for around AU$350 but the toner replacement adds up to around 1K and then you have the drum/fuser etc etfuckingcertera.
- inkjets seem to cost more per print than laser printers too. but new drum sucks.....vaxorcist

Yeah, I am looking for a half decent quality printer for home (A4) that doesn't take your trousers down when it comes to consumables.
What are you guys using for home use?

jeez. maybe im just gonna draw the stuff rather and write neatly...
or just buy a crappy inkjet

as said, that one at home doesn't fuck you as bad as an inkjet... and you save with the paper...
at the office we've got a xerox A3 7760. toner is expensive, not to mention the fuser kit... but the cpp is very low as i've printed shitloads.
the colour matching in both is good considering that are laser printers...

I've got a Canon Pixma 4300. It's a few years old but you could probably get one for about £40. Really good prints at highest quality, it's got two paper trays, so you can fold it all up into a box and store things on top of it and print duplex. Looks quite nice. Inks are reasonable.

Epson R1400 not too pricey, but cost per print is supposedly slightly more than R1900.... both A3 size....
