I'm telling you, the Spyderco's. I've read that you can get them engraved right from Spyderco. I don't know your budget, but they'd make a great gift. I've had my Endura 1 for about 8 years, and I use it almost every day. Form and function, baby! =)

when i got married i bought my guys all a nice watch from overstock. our color was cherry (ties for the guys) so i bought watches with a nice cherry (close enough) leather band. they were pretty fuckin hot. when we hang or when i run into them occasionally at the gas station i see they're all still wearing the watch 3+ years later. i had 10 guys to buy for lol.
