Anyone from India here on QBN? I need to ask what Indian luxury brands there are in India. Any field really. Not finding much luck myself.
Thanks in advance. :-)

imho, where displays of wealth are concerned, it's probably more to do with the local lifestyle and social structures than local companies. They'll likely still hanker after the same luxurious Euro and Amero brands that people from other parts of the world hanker after - the handbags, the cars, the watches, the boozes.
Difference being, like China - the really rich buy the brand itself, then sell the produkt back to their countryfolk.
Gold, Crystal, Silk and food will still all be of the artesan, of the establishment that hails from before the time of brands.
- Interesting article thanks :-)citizen_h

I should know some local brands, but, honestly, I think the most sought-after ones are still ones from North America and Europe, as detritus mentioned above.
For make-up, it's Lakme, Avon, and Revlon. But they're not really "luxury".
