wear a t-shirt with the logo of your company? Working in advertising or design, that is. My boss is going crazy about this and he would like us to wear one. I mean, I really like my job and my company, but a t-shirt? I dunno. It feels a little 1992.
(If you would know any stylish examples, I would gladly like to see them.)

Do you do the design for Polo Ralph Lauren?

No, not as a uniform, but on events or maybe when visiting clients. Just as a promotional item. But then in a stylish way. Or something.

It's fun to have branded stuff. We used to have caps and hoodies for shits n giggles but never expected to wear them for clients etc

visiting clients wearing matching t-shirts is probably not a good idea, lol. could you imagine trying to pitch something serious with $$$ attached and you're all wearing the same t-shirt?! what the client will be thinking? i'm sorry but it feels more like a lemonade stand strategy or something... i can't wrap my head around the logic. maybe if the shirts were always paired with crested blazers?... maybe it's a brilliant move, what do i know.

yeah. if the company has a cool logo. why not.
not as a uniform though. having a uniform at a design studio would be strange!

It's not that we HAVE to wear it constantly when we're visiting clients or whatever. And certainly not as a uniform, offcourse. My boss just thinks it's cool to have one. None of you hipsters have any branded gear?
- akrokdesign0
it's better if he gives them to the clients.

I recently argued with my boss, 'cause I refused to wear a branded polo during a meeting with a prospect client.

what about a nice polo golf shirt with the logo stitched on. or back to the blazers, that would be pretty rad if a company made proper crested blazers and everyone had to wear them to internal meetings. like a faculty meeting at yale. i'd be into it. hipsterific.
- < taxiguerrilla don't read this, lol.prophet
- I'm looking for the custom polo they made for me (2 sizes smaller than I am), I'll post a picture asap.taxiguerrilla

An agency I worked at in '08/09 decided to give us all branded hoodies for Christmas; it never came out of my wardrobe, except on a couple of occasions; and in those cases, the logo was entirely hidden under the jacket I wore on top of it.
Branded kit is only cool if it's 2001, you work for Lost Boys and they give you a cool bike to pedal around Amsterdam on.

nice polo = work at best buys.
