For some reasons the image icons within the 'Chesterfield Furniture' section have an unsightly underline in Firefox - all versions of IE and Opera dont show it tho?
anyone any idea where the issue is?

Get a 404 as well but sometimes you find the underline/border is inherited from something so set a border:0 / text-decoration: none on those elements and see if that sorts it.

yeah, if the images are links then that'll be it. set a specific style none and you're all good.

the underline comes from de "a", because the image is diplaying inline.
If you had "float: left" and some right and left margin to the image , it stops being inline.
<img alt="Chesterfield Sofas" src="images/homeSofas.gif" sty="" style="float: left; margin: 0pt 15px;">

a { text-decoration: none; }

dmay was right above, you're going to need to re-do that little bit of the css to float the thumbs and span. Adding a float to the a img in that list removes the underline but breaks the layout a little so it will need a bit of playing around with but shouldn't be that much effort to fix.
