You going to be looking for work out there?
If so , when and for how long.... I'm moving out in August.

Advice I got from expat freelancers there:
Keep your residency elsewhere because taxes in Spain are an extortion scheme. Also, be sure to keep your clients you had elsewhere as local are tight with money and can be difficult to deal with.I know the first bit is true, what about the second?

The city is a bit expensive (but also quite nice); the people tend to be friendly but rude, but it's up to you.
My experience is that Spanish clients are always reluctant to pay. They will ask you to work even longer hours than in the US, and in general there's a cultural appeal for the backstabbing. Living in there and working for British companies, can be a good solution tho...
