Why so many "clicks" to get to your work?
- acescence0
yeah, I would take away that landing page and just have your site load up right there
- sureshot0
First "ENTER" than another "SKIP" button.
I left. sorry.

would be good if you lost the pixel font for something sans serif and really clean.
the image quality (as far as compression) seems bad. its blurry in some places and noisy in others - happens all in the same pic sometimes.
Going from Contact Info to the Production Services page, there is an inconsistent way you're showing information, in the justification of the paragraphs and in the font choices (pixel to regular font).

thanks guys for the input I will check that!

you have some very nice work.

im sorry, i thought you were asking for a critique. we get so many of those around here. my fault.
- AndresHernandez0
I like to hear all the opinions about the website.. I'm the one who did it.. so .. this is a website for designers, artist , etc.. so all the criticism is good to me..

thanks sequoia

Nice work but i would be careful about putting "directed by" on your work when all you do is shoot a hot girl on a bed or such... It's really insulting to directors (people who work with ideas) out there, plus it's probably counterproductive to you too. I mean unless you want to be a director not a photographer.

pr2 .. i hear u!

ya don't have a splash page and don't have an intro, and for the love of pete load "recent work" right away instead of all that text - you're a photographer so i want to see your pix!
nice photography too :D
- orrinward0
I really don't like it. Way too many clicks to get to anything and it was taking a while just to load the text around the thumbnails.
You should nice big photos as soon as you launch the page.
Nice photography but I just hate the website...

Got bored after the landing page, then another flash intro? Remove these and it will be nice.
Lovely portfolio by the way!
p.s. do you realise that everything you have done to the site can be achieved with jquery?
- sequoia0
^agreed.
you should ditch the "slide show pro" flash gallery

NOTE: I heard an interesting conversation with an art buyer... she said that if she can't figure out from your website your look/aesthetic/story/mood within 5 to 10 seconds, she will just go to the next photographer's website on the list... and she often kept 4 or 5 tabs/browser windows open at the same time, whoever's site was slow flash was the least likely to get her attention....
I'd highly consider jquery and/or plain old HTML scrolling frame... speed + visual impact seems to be all that matters here..
BUT... very, very Interesting work, obviously good vibe with people... I loved most of the portrait work, note that the image compression on some images is a bit odd... maybe resized jpegs somewhere in the workflow....

What about now?!

I changed the fonts
- You've just changed the least pressing issue here.orrinward

why is there a splash page with no pictures on it?
why is the splash page so vertically huge, but scrolling down shows nothing?
and what's this red thing with a 3 on the side for?
continuing on...
i still have to wait to see your pictures on the main page...! and there's still a mysterious red thing, but only half of it:so, it's a bit better, but i don't see why there's still that initial page, and why there's an enforced wait on the second page.
finally, you need your name on your page! on the main gallery page i can't see "andres hernandez" anywhere except the browser window title.
