Has anyone here used a LIghtscribe DVD burner?
I'm considering getting one so I can deliver DVD's with my logo, copyright, etc etched into them.... more elegant than a sharpie and less messy than the stick-on labels you print which may or may not jam in a client's DVD player...
Mostly I still either FTP or deliver files on flash drives, but I may be needing to get more "retail"
If you have one, can you tell me:
1. do the burned DVD's work reliably in most drives?
2. Any quirks with writing them?
3. Any client comments?

I've only done it with cd's. the material for scribing on usually has a color on them already—hopefully that'll fit with yr brand.

I've bought two lightscribe devices and have a stack of lightscribe DVDs somewhere.
I've never bothered once in the last 3 years.
1. They will.
2. No, but producing seems to involve shitty middleware*.
3. No.* I'd love to know if anyone's 'printed' straight from Photoshop or Illustrator. That might make me change my mind.
- yes... I've gathered the shitty middleware issue....vaxorcist
