Ok, I have a Flash carousel that I am working with, but need to be able to scale only the background images down a bit to make them fit in the 960x440 canvas. Can someone look at the coding and help me out? Grab the file below

Post a link to an html file so people can quickly view this. Then post an image of the desired scaling. It's a bit much to ask people to dl a random ZIP and view it on their machine. Just trying to help.

It's one thing to ask for help, it's another to post files you probably downloaded from somewhere online and then request that someone just "fix" them for you.
I suggest you play with lines 97, and 104-170, good luck!
- I modified with as much as I could with my limited AS knowledge. But thanks will look into itirrelevant

A year or more ago, I would have been right with you, but as unhelpful as it might be: "I do this sort of thing in JQuery now".
If you come horrifically unstuck with this, then
http://www.professorcloud.com/ma…
doesn't have the motion blur or dof, but there are, eg pixastic scripts that you could wrangle into it.
I'm not in any way trying to start a flash vs. jquery, but from experience I know that sometimes you can waste 5 or 6 hours trying to wrestle with flash, and keep bumping up against an undocumented bug or performance issue that there's no satisfactory work-around for.
There is an alternative, is all I'm helpfully trying to point out.ps.Where'd you get your medical images from ? I just busted a nut getting a load at full price on the usual sites, got a cheap, (legit) source ?
- Client provided, so do not know the source. I usually head over to istockphoto myself.irrelevant
- right, right.
Bends over for istock : /mikotondria3

Thanks NONEIS, looks like line 97 was the easy fix by changing the number*Math.PI)/total
