I post this because it is relevant and I always found it very interesting. It's a talk with Luis von Ahn who's one of the guys who originally developed the CAPTCHA concept and subsequently coined the term itself. He gives a little run down on it at the start then gets into other topics related to human computation and ways of using people to do things computers can't.
He is apparently one of the originators of crowdsourcing as well...
