I have a Mac desktop and will soon also have a Mac laptop. Are there any restrictions on installing the same license of CS5 on both? Can the same apps run concurrently or just on each alone?

yes, you can install your same license on a laptop, don't know if you can run both at the same time on the same network though.

I run CS4 on 2 laptops at the same time, often both with the same apps open with different projects with no warnings.
Does CS5 have a stricter system? If it doesn't then you should be fine.

place i worked at bought 1 copy and used it on 5 different computers in the office + 1 at the bossmans house. never had a problem with any of it not working- but always wondered when the adobe ninjas were going to swoop in and take him out.

@Thelonious_Funk sounds like a different problem that you are blaming on licences, doesn't make any sense for it to be licences causing that.
