Barcode Issue

I'm having an issue with barcodes.
In my indesign document, I have barcodes.
When I open the file up, the barcodes are messed up.
Here is an image of problem...
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

What kind of file is your barcode? EPS? AI? PDF?
Import / save out as something else....?

looks like your barcode is a font, and the font is not activated.

Yea I pretty sure its a font... but it wont say what font is missing!

It says there is no linked file, so it must be a font.

Does anyone know why it won't ask me for the font, when I open indesign.

maybe it's a font that has become corrupted or something on your system... I guess you could always try to select the text out of the text field and then paste it into another one. What is the native file for the barcode? Try opening it in a different app and seeing what happens then...

should link it as an EPS or something, not a font

I found it by opening up an old PDF in illustrator... illy told me what font was missing.
