might be a harddisc crash. there was a program from apple which gives a free replacement, so don't open it!

tried target disk, no go
tried Command + S key. no go,
I think the disc is dead, I may have to take a macbook pro appart,I'm smiling, I always wanted to destroy something beautiful

Sounds like the disc has failed, gor corrupted or got disconnected, run hardware diagnostics. Might be worth trying the drive in another machine

Aww shit... that was the last thing I saw before mine bit it. Target disk even a full install was rejected.
Brick.hope you have better luck than I... and a better backup strategy.

URGENT
one of my coworker's Macbook pro starting displaying a grey folder, that blinked and the computer shut down,
now it won't recognise the disk even with disk utility,is there any other way to access the disk, we tried mounting it but it doesn't work,
HELP
