Too bad, you're just missing the McGinley show at Team Gallery. Also, Shepard is giving a talk on April, 25th at Brooklyn Museum. There will be an Obey popup store happening, which I'm sure Deitch Gallery will have info on if you go to the opening.
Leica Gallery on Broadway might be of interest to you.
Whitney Biennial will still be up. Not a ton of photography in it this year though.
Visionaire Gallery might be worth popping in if your down by Deitch as well. Not sure what else is going that week right now.
- yes Leica gallery! I think I went to one of thems in Melbourne AustraliaJG_LB

I'm arriving on the 20th May for two weeks, any more cool exhibitions going on around then?

In route to grabbing a burger at ShakeShack in Madison Sq. Park, you can look for all the Anthony Gromley installation of figures he's placed on the tops of buildings around there. They look like jumpers.
he's also got a show up at SeanKelly in Chelsea which is a good way to spend an afternoon just browsing through all the galleries over there. http://artobserved.com/ao-on-sit…Gagosian, Pace and others will usually have decent shows going on. That area also puts you in a good spot to walk the Highline.

This survey of a century of design for living, covering everything from typography and posters to objects and appliances, includes 300 selections from the museum's massive design collection, including Art Nouveau objects and posters from 1890 to 1914; items from the New Typography graphic design movement of 1927–1937; works that focus on the relationship of machine, body and mind from the 1920s through the early 1940s; and more.
