I was looking for some feedback on my website...any ideas or suggestions. I can take the criticism. www.danielcornelius.com

nice work, a landing image might be a good idea.

Have one of your projects open by default on the portfolio page - Or thumbnails for different projects. Seeing a load of little numbers doesn't get me in the mood.
I'm not sure about stacking images like you've done in a couple of projects. Whatever's on top is obscuring the image below.

1.Your home page doesnt load anything? im assuming u knew that?
- Very solid design portfolio...Have you found any serious offers yet?wakeupdinasaurs
- I currently work at a marketing firm, and do some freelancing on the side...i'm still working on the home page.dcorn

I like it and your work. The only things I would mention are add an image to the front screen, and you work on the fonts a little, that thin font doesn't look crisp enough in the portfolio section. Maybe look in to some flash pixel fonts for the smaller text.
- I'm not too familiar with flash pixel fonts. I will look into it, any suggestions?dcorn

Sorry, I don't like sites like this.
The 'design' in a site like this stops at deciding on a look, then thinly painting it over a hodgepodge of content.
You say nothing with this site, in fact you even appear deliberately avoiding saying anything - your work is hidden behind two inscrtuable layers of .. nothing.
You've got some good clients in there - if I were a potential employer, that's what'd impress me most. Get that, and your work up front. If I don't like your work, there's little you can do to convince me otherwise.
Whilst I'm on my soap box, can I have a whinge about your 'About' page? I don't really care about your inspirations. I don't really care about your enthusiasm for 'seeing a project through to completion' - that's the barest level of effort I'd expect from you as an employee.
Unless you have something really mind-blowing to relate to me, shut up. I've heard it before. I'll only think less of you if you keep regugitating the same old shit.
With love,
x

Why Flash? Everything you have done there could be done in html?
Some nice work on your site though!
- detritus0
Oh, christ - I didn't even notice the site was in flash, I just assumed you'd done everything as bitmaps with awful aliasing.
Aye, what seeessess ses.

I'm going to take all this into consideration and get started on the tweaks...thank you for the constructive criticism.

Your copyright says 2008. Might wanna update that.

You have some nice work there mate but it shows you really are not a web designer. I would take out an account with QBN or get someone to design a site for you. The site is really letting down your good print work.

I love your work but as said above, you might not get to see it because of the crappy "1,2,3,4,5" navigation. Give the viewer the catalogue so they'll go buy the product, or... show them a thumbnail so they want to see your awesome work.
I really don't like the name/logo at the top. Not a fan of the style, and the mix of Outer Glow with Grunge really looks amateur. You have some seriously shit hot work that your own branding doesn't come near, and because you've hidden your work away people will just click on and off the site straight away.

Yea I'm trying to learn web, but your absolutely right. I'm more into print. You were suggesting something like this http://www.krop.com/cornelius208…
After seeing all the feedback it might be the way to go.

its not bad, agreed on the need for thumbnails.
i also have one of your bottles of talisker at home- nice.

you might consider your 4 pages to animate in rather than just popping in, even just a simple 1 sec alpha like your content.
