Im designing some festival posters, the largest being A0/ bus stop size. What resolution do you recommend I do them at? Im a bit worried about the files killing my comp.

Quater size 400dpi

actually 150 is fine for outdoor stuff. nobody's going nose-to-nose with a bus shelter

Depends on what the content of your posters is made up of. If it's mainly raster artwork, I'd say quarter size at 300dpi is ample. If it's made up of vector artwork, the resolution doesn't matter, so just send full A0 artwork.

This is a good question for your print vendor.

I work at an Outdoor Advertising company and we ask for art to be 1:8 scale at 600 dpi for bus shelter posters.
