yeah, I just had one done there. It came out....decent. Nearly $45 for 1 copy after shipping (80 pages, soft cover, premium paper)
I had 3 printed, in two batches. First one came out trimmed and assembled nicely, second batch of two had the spine slightly misaligned, luckily mine wrapped around black so it wasn't as obvious.
So, quality wise it is "ok".
The glue they use seems a bit soft and weak. They probably won't stand up to a lot of abuse.
I'd use them again if I just need a couple copies of a book for fairly cheap. I can only assume lulu is the same or similar quality.
- had a friend that got 4 books made throught them, one came apart like yours and they replaced itdewilde

they're good but crazy expensive. a friend of mine just released a small hardbound book that had no printing on the cover for $55 when it was all said and done... he built no profit into it for himself... that's just the flat cost. way too high.

It's true - there's not much profit to be had in the actual production of a book. Profits are all in distribution.
