I need to open a lot of indesign docs and don't have all the fonts. this is not a problem, since I only need certain text passages from these docs, but the missing fonts dialogue pops up every time, and it's getting annoying clicking it away. is there any way to disable it, like I could disable missing links dialogue? I've got cs3 and cs4 here.
thanks for looking!

no way to install the fonts required?
- I have all but one, it seems a different version was used or something... I figure it's easier to turn off the checkjimbojones
- can't you sub your version in the dialog box? or maybe that is only with the fontxplorer plugin?johndiggity

johndiggity, I don't need to substitute the fonts, I don't want that missing fonts window to pop up every time I open a file... The missing fonts may be substituted by a default font, I don't care, I just want to speed up the opening process.
- Is it that hard to hit Enter and close the dialogue?monospaced

is it that hard to shut the fuck up if you don't have anything useful to say, mono? what do you genius think I've been doing all the time? how do you think it's working out for me? I guess if I make this cute little post here, with that particular question, then it IS hard to hit enter every frigging time I open a file, and I need to open a whole lot of files, but actually you couldn't care less because I asked how to get rid of the missing font dialogue once and for all, and not if you know any alternatives to clicking the ok button.
too bad people with your mindset start working at tech support: "is it that hard to live without internet a few days". hope you get some brains for breakfast, really.- sorry man, seriouslymonospaced

this guy is trying to suppress it with some applescript, but doesn't look like you can do it or there is some bug in cs3, but i have no clue what the fuck these guys are talking about: http://forums.adobe.com/message/…

Why don't you just select all your files and open all at once. At least then you can just go click click click click click...
