just curious, but what do you guys feel like is the best way to present a website in a PDF? the screen thing is a bit tacky i feel, but it seems to be lacking just as an image placed on a page....

Simplified browser window. Safari sans bookmarks bar or Firefox/IE sans icons.

decent place to get a high res image? or a simple screen grab?

They have browser windows as well if you don't want to do a screengrab.

I had to recreate the safari browser window in hi-res for print presentation once! What a waste of time.

A web page is pretty immersive. You experience them 'zoomed in' and in high detail. A lot of that quality is lost when you reduce the page to a single image for print or thumbnail size
A collection of shots, showing zoomed out flats for context and cropped in details for finish and feel seems to work well. The 'photo of a website on a screen' technique sometimes works to show detail/vibe when the source imagery is low resolution.
