Hello,
I've recently uploaded most of my work and, its a bit selfish, but I would really appreciate some feedback on the work and the website.
I work mostly with motion graphics and interactive now, but I try and mix it about with some print jobs here and there.
You don't have to be kind (not that you lot hold back). I really want to improve the content and site.
Thanks for your time.

my 2 cents:
i like the site, nice and simple. the about and contact feel a bit out of place for me though. i wouldve put them under the rest.
for the motion work, it would be nice to see some more of you personal work in your reel. it feels very corporate. clients i have love to see what i do in spare time and that i have passion for what i do. everybody knows how client work gets watered down and shat on so its always good to see a little of what you would do for a client/job with no restrictions. just a balance i guess.
but then again, what do i know.
- agree with the about/contact linksduckseason
- Thanks whereRI, I intend to add my personal work gradually. pretty lifeless reel atm. Couldnt agree more.abhi

Personally, I'd ditch the about and contact links and just include their content on the homepage, taht way you can do away with that slightly awkward second column of smaller text.
Aside from the descriptor boxes appearing in a fashion that, for me, interferes with the work on display (personally, I'd put it in a discrete row before or after the image, but that's just me), I really like it. Simple and to the point, just as a portfolio should be.
- agree with the about/contact linksduckseason
- totally agree with the descriptor boxes .. really annoyed me.Jordy

Yes to ^. I like the site. Simple clean and fun. Nice work...

Everything everyone else already said, plus:
Need more in the about section. That really doesn't say much about you at all. Since you're telling us about your current employer, you might as well put in a mini-resume in there - a list of big clients, where you went to school, etc.
And about the description boxes at the beginning of each section - I understand that you laid it out so that the description and the image below it are both visible and readable, but you make it look like it's a popup obscuring the content. Maybe if you laid those first slides out better in such a way as to make clear that it's an intro slide and integrate the content better with the text...? Maybe like i do on my site: www.tuanhbui.com -> click on any of the "project" links (I don't mean to be conceited!)
One more point - for the work that you did for your agency, it might be nice to make clearer what your role was - were you the sole designer for the print stuff, or were you art-directed by someone? How about the interactive - did you do design and code? Or did you only do the design bit?
Overall though, very nice and slick and chunky (:

Slick and simple - I like. Love the custom video player but would help to have volume/mute control.
I'm not a fan of really closely cropped thumbnails like you have in the interactive section, can't see what I'm clicking into so maybe expand on hover or just have them more zoomed out to start with. (They work better for 3d section)

is anyone else bothered by the use of "A Person" on the business cards? That to me just reeks amateur. Also, I really don't get the point of last slide of the Medanta project, showing some half-covered rows of type and the ability to apply drop shadows...
sorry, I'm grumpy this morning.
- yes!akrokdesign
- on "a person" not on the grumpy part. or wait. lol.akrokdesign
- I would have used the real name, only thats not really private for the client. Have you got suggestions? Thanks.abhi

You've got a broad set of skills. Good stuff. I like the site and your work. The only thing I'm not crazy about is...
I'm not going to remember "abhi" from your URL. You should at least have your name on the site or add a logo somewhere. Just need something to associate you with.

Oh wow! cheers all. All very valid points.
I am going to start with the navigation niggles first - textbox overlay, about / contact etc. Please keep going.
- travisbarto0
The about and contact don't bother me too much, site navigates simply and easily and looks really clean. I would also say it would be nice to see some less corporate stuff in your reel, whether personal or fictitious.

I like it! Not sure about the slides with the scribbles though... They are somehow appealing to me as a designer but I think you should only show finished works...
- duckseason0
I don't think you should downplay yourself in your about section.
You said something along the lines of "occasionally making beautiful work." That just put me off for some reason. I feel if the work is on your site, you should stand behind it 100% - sell yourself.- i'm assuming you're just trying to be modest, but i think its something about the wording that just reads/seems off to meduckseason

If you are planning to hype the motion aspect of your work this heavily, then you really need to get some more pieces broken out and on display. Having a single stop motion piece, along with a reel of chopped up bits, won't convince me or anyone else to hire you for that sort of work...
Site is OK overall, I would change your thumb for the reel, I missed it completely at first, black on black is not the best route to go if you want people to click on something...
- Cheers. I can see how lopsided the reel can seem - the way it stands. Improvements on the way.abhi

A very brief crit:
on Interactive and Print. The plus sign in the bottom right is either scaled to be not full pixels or positioned off on the Y axis, so it isn't crisp. It's only the middle bar so I guess it's the scale.

yeah nice, is that gotham ? its everywhere nowadays...
