Great fun, but hard work. Helps if you have natural balance (which I do not).

fookin' LOVE it! I've got a fixed blade and a Venom for landboarding, and came very close to buying a water kite last night, but someone sniped my auction sniper!! I've got a board and wetsuit for the water but have never used them. It's bloody hard to get to the beach, and my Venom isn't exactly ideal.. if I crash it it's quite hard to get it going again
Anyone keen to give it a go in London hit me up!

last year I did three 4-hour sessions in France which was interesting as I don't really speak french... and got as far as launching myself out of the water, but found it really hard to control the power as I came out of the water. Net result - straight over the board and back into the sea... o_O
it was excellent fun tho... I want to try and do it properly this year

I did a few lessons in NZ, it was great fun, fried my face looking up at the sun all day, there's a lot to learn but it's well worth it.
Switching from the little 3m training kites to the 7.5m kites is freaky... now I understand those YouTube vids about dudes getting so frickin' airborne.
Like hans I'll definitely be going back for more :)

but I think that snowkiting is the ultimate! Cos it's nice and soft, but you can stand on it unlike water. Also, you have hills that you can jump off....
ok beginning sucks skip to 20s in. at 40s you'll shit bricks
- MUCH bigger air than kitesurfing. fuck spinning around and all that, this is where its atProjectile
