Saving as PDF is the neat way, but there's probably some faster way. It'd be neat if there was a "preview current artboard" setting thrown in somewhere.

- Well that's fine. All I'm meaning is during the process I do this just to hide everything that's not on the artboard for preview purposes. When It comes to final output of course then I'd tidy everything upshapeaspect

When you show outlines (command-Y) it shows everything, yes?

I hardly ever use just the artboard area, and if I do it's tiled 8.5x11 pages on a big 100"x100" artboard
