No Colour Conversion will leave your colours as you want them but it is always worth checking your PDF in Acrobat > Advanced > Print Production> Output Preview. This will show you exactly what colours are in your document, where they are, what percentage etc.

Check "Preview color separations" within the document or the "Ink manager" in the PDF export panel to be sure Pantone colors are not converted in CMYK.

As long as the placed file has only K in it and the 485 swatch is a spot in Indesign, there is nothing special you need to do really. Just don't convert it to RGB.

- InDesign will not convert colors for you... if you place a file and export it to PDF the PDF still retains the placed images colorspaced_rek

- You can convert when creating a PDF, but in this case, you don't want to.duckofrubber
