Reminds me of Microsoft windows. Why are my eyes directed to spin, twirl towards the center. Is that how you search? It rides on top of that 90s thinking, cliche of what business is.
There a name for this color spectrum, anyone know what it is. Same colors Google, ebay, windows, all of them use.

- same...colors are nicer toomonospaced
- better, but not nicer, the colors here lose their primary feel, but they all make me feel like taking a nap...NONEIS

holy fuck.
well i guess you don't need to tell us the client is slightly literal and i'm guessing a magnifying glass and a compass were included in the initial concept phases of the brand.
the arrow thing is a cliche but not in a bad way (cliches are there for a reason in my life especially cliche iconography), it just needs to be worked through more. made more unique.
also, i question the need to use 4 different colours. it seems like a typical committee decision, you know the whole "yes, according to market research mulitiple colours will infer the expanse of the product" kinda shite.
still what the fuck do i know. it's probably awesome.

yeh. I could be wrong, but it feels like a google swastika or a pinwheel. The purple feels particularly harmful to me.
It at least needs a drop shadow, gradient, and a 2.0 shine.

Haha @ Google Swastika. Good feedback. Keep it comming! ;)

Purple?

Info Finder, would be better with just one font weight.

needs more arrows.

It looks Windows-esque, so it must be very professional!

LOL @ asking for a critique for a logo he didn't create.
I have this "friend" who...c'mon! It's yours, isn't it!?
- I am sure you can image some reasons where a person would want critique for some work he didnt create ;)inv
- But what if he really didnt make it? That would mean you're just a dick.CygnusZero4
- Would it? What if i sayd that i work for the company that has this logo, and I want it changed for the better?inv
- Is it so bad to get some "professional" appinions on it to back up what i already know?inv
- I was just curious...and OBVIOUSLY you don't get the humor, guys. Fucking laugh, jesus.monospaced
- I ONLY asked a question; I'm not a dick. And I can't imagine why you'd ask to critique someone else's logo.monospaced
- he's calling you a potential dick, com'on get a laugh! jesus.goygoygoy

Not enough magnifying glass.

Thanks for the feedback fellow qbners. Really appreciate it. You can't hire people to get this kind of "straight up" response.
I think something needs to be done with this logo. Less swastika and more web 2.0. Since I've already stolen your precious time, what kind of concepts would you pursuit for a search company. Other than the obvious magnifying glass and compass ;)
- Anything except arrows and Google's color palette. Throw those away and start over.monospaced
- Great...thanks..now I have...nothing ;)inv
- But, YOU didn't design it, remember!? hhahahaaaamonospaced

Great logo, imo. This thread needs less QQ.
