If you really are friends with strippers, the last thing they want is for you to be around when they are "working". Most of them are ashamed on relying on stripping to make money.

In college, I had a neighbor who was a stripper..didn't know it for a while.....I was friends with her before I found out... and then we didn't talk about what she called her "not-day-job" ... she was into screenprinting and made some pretty good artists books.... so we talked art and design....

years ago, I worked at this ad agency that was just down the street from a strip club....
two of the partners in the agency used to spend a fair bit of time there...and probably used the whole, 'oh..we own an ad agency' vibe....
needless to say, the got a lot attention from the girls....so much so that they used to swing by the studio all the time....to...and i'm not joking here....bring us homemade cookies.
i kid you not.
there was about 3 girls in particular that used to do that all the time...drop by any old time during the day with a basket of cookies or muffins or whatever...
it was actually kind of hot....all three were pretty damn good looking...so they had that going....plus dropping off baked goods....well...it just doesn't get much better....oh wait..it does...cuz i got to see em naked :)
that was a pretty fun agency...
