yeah looks nice.. i dont like how you have to guess what happens after thr right hand swipe and noticed how no ones showing the media player (vide0)?
people are also saying no flash support and no multitasking
love the grid and box ui tho.

i clicked on the link and there was something about Silverlight so I immediately gave up and came back here.

Looks nice but the keyboard looks pretty cramped. Also in videos it seemed to be slow to react to gestures. The thing with touch screens is that if the device doesn't react almost immediately people will freak out and get frustrated.
- True. The nokia Symban touch uis drive me crazy because of this.stinger

Basically, it's no iPhone OS killer. If it's anything like the Zune, it only plays well with Microsoft products. While people give shit to Apple for making everything proprietary, I have to say MS is a bigger culprit.

I am an apple addict but i really enjoy the phone and the UI :) Everything is so neat ... there is no clue that this thing is made by Microsoft :)

I read the Engadget review on the bus this morning, the reviewer is loving it, I'll be interested to see it in my hands.

I need to see it. If it's as hot as the website demo's look, I'll be sold. The design, layout, grid, type, is really nice!

yeah i like this too esp the box ui

I would buy one if it would sync up to my mac. Microsoft should do this.

im liking this... i'd say something about software reliability, but then i'm currently using an iphone...
the interface on this is looks book!

I think the UI is beautiful...really nice typography driven navigation. It's interesting that a company who has not historically been so design friendly (or user experience driven) comes out with a mobile interface that, from a design perspective, blows everyone else out of the water. It's fresh and is (finally) not an iphone copycat.

The website is down... "service unavailable" hah.
From that image though it does look nice, definitely better than most of the other garbage out there. I assume the home screen is customizable, correct?

If it doesn't work with iTunes, they might have a problem selling it.

I just watched a few demo videos. The touch capabilities are pathetic.
- it's like 9 months from ship, hopefully they'll crisp it up.jfletcher

So, the fanbois haven't hijacked this yet?
I really like this as well...hope they start giving Apple a run for their money.

It's about time someone gave apple a run for their money... they need it.
Also, why are people slagging silverlight? Yes you have to install it but you had to do the same with flash as well... back in the day. It is far more lightweight and feels a lot less buggy. A developer mate of mine says it kicks flash way into touch. Just curious I suppose
