This is obviously getting skewed towards the higher/sports end of things. What I can't work out is why there is big difference in how some cars look when between their American and European models.
For example, this is what a Ford Focus looks like in Europe:
Nothing special, but not too bad. And yet, this is how it looks in America...
You can take a perfectly reasonable looking car, then ruin it with daft styling changes...
- 2010 Focus looks better than this in the US.Mimio
- that's because they're producing one single model for the global market - and it looks more akin to the euro versionNot_Just_Another

The UK is doing much better things with Fords than the US. Granted you don't really seem to do the hot hatch thing in the states, but the "performance" versions of Ford's cars are pretty awesome. There's also the UK run ford rally team which has competed at the top of the sport for almost 40 years. I'd be surprised if any US run team could match that sort of achievement in international motorsport (and no, indy & nascar don't count)
For build quality, longevity, engineering, the Germans will never be beat. Check BMW M6 and any Merc Luxo-barge as proof.
- That's is why Ford is bringing the Fiesta over from Europe as is, no design changes,ETM
- wrong. they did changes. they won't sell the 2 door version. they made it bigger and 4 door.
akrok - this is the uk version

- I think it's a bit too stocky for a Lambo - reminds me of the car Prodrive put together a few years back - http://www.youtube.c…Not_Just_Another

I prefer German cars (and drive one), but Ford has put out a decent line.
For less than 20K, this thing lights it up: http://www.fordvehicles.com/cars…. Well worth the money.

but then again, this Fusion looks very different from the Fusion we have in Europe
American kickass:
European shite:
http://www.ford.de/cs/BlobServer…Why do these two absolutely different cars share the same name? It's beyond my understanding...
- that's a terrible contrast. WFT!?********
- The American Fusion is built on a Mazda platform, the euro Fusion is built on a euro ford platformvaxorcist

- but I'm guessing their not exactly aimed at the same markets are they? hence why they look so different.
Not_Just_Another - The UK Mondeo seems more similar to your Fusion:
http://p.webwombat.c…Not_Just_Another - Euro fusion is for old ladies and mothers that can't afford a chelsea tractor. The US fusion appears to be hybrid shite.rascuache
- And they're both ugly as sinrascuache
- US Fusion is more of a Mondeo.Mimio
- but I'm guessing their not exactly aimed at the same markets are they? hence why they look so different.

That dodge challenger looks nice - a hark back to retro styling :)
Mini's are more or less the same styling in the US as they are in Europe.
US ones have reflectors on the front arches though.A photo from me and a bunch of mates "Mini Adventure" to St.Andrews at the weekend. A quick pose on the fairway of the 18th on the Old Course :)
