nice, thanks.
version3.. I'm going to look at and copy peoples' methods. But even if I do copy it directly, it's only for leaning anyway. Not like I'm making money off other peoples' designsascescence.. how would you suggest i go about learning about all that then? I've been throught the W3Schools CSS section and it's clearly not enough to get me going on my own. yeh i think cross browser stuff is still my biggest issue, I figured other peoples' code would have ways of dealing with it that I could copy. as I said, any advice would be massively appreciated

you're not going to learn the ins and outs and cross browser issues by looking at someone else's site. you need a proper foundation in css and html. there are a million ways to achieve the same end results, without knowing why you're doing something a particular way you're more likely to pick up bad habits.
- Unfortunately, I didn't really get from his post that he gives a shit about learning anything. Just needs a site.dMullins
