how much is a taxi from JFK to upper west side?
+- and is it per person then? and how much to tip / toll?- taxi's are a set price.. i believe its $35 or $45 or $50 toll is included in price tip is up to ue-pill
- also make sure its a yellow cab that is licensed to be at the airport.e-pill
- make sure you get the ticket stub from the taxi so its legit, there is a lot of gypsies cabs.e-pill
- the gypsie cabs arent licensed to be there and charge anything they want..e-pill
- taxi's in nyc are not run by the amount of people, it is all based off the meter.e-pill
- for tip.. something around $5-$10e-pill
- make sure you get the receipt
so you can write it off..e-pill - ok, so only take yellow cabs, these are no gubsies?digdre
- or are there yellow gibsies aswelldigdre
- yellow cabs will have a medalion on the hood of the car, that is the license.e-pill
- gypsies cabs are usually lincolns or mercedees luxury style.. with a price.e-pill
- there is a designated outdoor area for the yellow cabs, wait in line there.e-pill
- dont stop or talk to anyone offering you a ride and do not let anyone take your bags.e-pill
- or help you with your bags unless they are baggage handlers for that airline.e-pill
- kepp your wallet and all cash in your front pockets. dont put anything in the back pkts.e-pill
- also this is NYC so remember, jay-walking gets you there faster. dont hesitate to do so.e-pill
- also take as many pics as you can then post them here so jevad can get jealous.e-pill
- jaywalking?digdre
- = crossing the street where there isn't a crosswalkismith
- its more than that smith-e it has to be between 2 traffik lights.e-pill

go to the Mets game on the 5th. (if you can still get tix)
You'll see one of the best pitchers in baseball in Josh Johnson with the Marlins.
And it's the Mets' home opener, so the stadium should be pretty fired up.
Shame you can't go on the 30th... the Phils are coming to town.
