thank you sequoia. it is an interesting "artist" + "life" journey. I can not say it better ... " Photographers go to the extreme edges of human experience to show people what's going on. Sometimes they put their lives on the line, because they believe your opinions and your influence matter " James Nachtwey - War Photographer

That photo of the ocean and the mountains and clouds is absolutely STUNNING.
The tilt-shift photos though... I don't know. Not really tilt shift in the same sense as what people are used to seeing. they really don't have that same feel as a miniature thing.

Also, there's a strange glitch in Firefox where when you go to the next image, it loads it, flashes the previous image, then shows the new one.

Ha! I would love to hear what a marketing guy or client would say about the empty space. Always nice work my friend ;)

doesn't work in IE7 - no scrollbar and half of image cut off
- eww. did you get a "lightbox" ?dibec
- i think the problem is if viewed on a small laptop screen the big space above the image on homepage means the image is cut off vertically - and there is no scrollbar to move down - just needs a scrollbar or all thje content to centre vertically automatically - great work tho!ckentish
- cut off vertically - just need a scrollbar or fall all content to centre in the window vertically. great work tho!ckentish
- thank you. I will look into that. I attempted to make the work viewable in a universal format.dibec

doesn't fit 1024*768
- dibec0
That's odd. I tested in 1024*768. It was viewable ... may I ask what browser you are using?

Nice work, dibec.

I like the work a lot, I like the simplicity.
The one thing that I think would help, is better implementation. At the moment your code provides a bare minimum, which is fine - but use of a bit of CSS could greatly enhance what you have.
If you used some CSS, you'd be able to give the page layout more structure. I think lack of consistency in page layout, is making using the site a bit confusing to use.
As a user, I like to be able to know where to look to see the stuff I'm looking for (the content) - and I also like to know what to use for navigation. At the moment these two elements seem quite combined .. I click, but I'm not sure what the effect of my click is going to be (or whether I should make the click in the first place).
Although an implementation like Indexhibit is perhaps overfamiliar (and dull) to some, Indexhibit does make this useful distinction - and I think you should maybe do the same.
I don't like the fact that when I hover over a navigation element, it disappears. Although the effect might be intentional - it comes across as buggy behaviour to me.
I also find the blank space at the top a bit confusing. I like the idea of an easter-egg.. but I don't think an easter-egg should be central to the site's overall experience.
