Rotating Twitter Feed

I'm trying to embed a rotating Twitter feed on my website, similar to http://therapidian.org/. I tried copying source code to no avail.
I'd like more control if possible, I just want to display one message at a time, and have that rotate in and out between maybe the last 48 hour messages. No photos or fancy CSS required, just text and links.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Anything that's a little more customizable?

are you a decent with php (or any server side scripting) at all? you can build a basic one using the twitter stream api.

- Not really; might give it a whirl though.besler
- it's pretty easy to set up if you follow the tutorial. you'll need to customize some code though.armsbottomer

Alright, I think I know what I'm looking for a bit more. armsbottomer, I'll still check that out. But what I essentially need is a one-line pull from a #hashtag or from:author for Twitter, and then have that fade in and out between the most recent 10 posts.
Does that make sense?

in that case, the easiest diy way (don't know if there's a tool out there that does this already) would be to use twitter rss feeds, and just download a php rss parser to pass them into. you can limit the feed to the 10 most recent posts, and store each tweet into an array. you should be able to plug that data into the js source you downloaded (as long as its looping through an array of tweets).
