My master page items are hiding behind images. Can you help me move them to the front? Thanks.

on master page items? I don't get it?

Create different layers for, let's say, photos and text.

Much like what has already been said, but when I start a new file, first thing I do is change the default layer name to “Master Elements” and create a new layer below that called “Below Master” then a “Text and Images” layer on top.

I have a question:
I have some text that is flowing into 2 linked text boxes. Is there anyway I can unlink the text boxes but still keep the text in them so the text each box reacts individually?

Dancer, only thing I can think of is cut and paste the second box which will keep its content correct, then delete the overflowed text from the first box. Not sure if theres an easier way.

Dancer, the only way I know of is by using the script BreakFrame that comes with Indesign.
