Problem on the mac

This is so irritating. I have a document thats about 30,000 words long. It was copied off a webpage and I need to print it.
Problem is if I print the webpage itself, it prints with the right margin being 4" wide, which means this document is taking about 3x as much paper as it needs to.
I tried copying it into a text document, into word, I cannot figure out how to remove all linebreaks from this document so that it fills a page.
Why is this so difficult? Things that are easy on the PC for well over a decade now are still a pain in the ass on the mac.

I seriously need an app to do this? Unbelievable.
- I cant get this $3,000 machine to give me clean text without dl-ing an app. That's cute.CygnusZero4

You do seem to have some pretty tough times with macs. That formatting would cause a problem if you copy / pasted it on a pc too, and printing it from a browser would most likely give you the same results on a pc as well.
- Except if you paste it into a plain text document on the PC, it gets rid of all formatting, which is what it should do.CygnusZero4
- Plain text document doesnt mean plain text on the mac. Still has formatting which makes no sense.CygnusZero4
- Plain text would still carry over linebreaks, no?brains
- It does, but its very easy to remove them all, not on the mac though.CygnusZero4

I cant believe I have to pay $40 to do this. Fuck this machine ill throw this text on a thumb drive and do it on the PC where its fucking easy, which is how something like this should be.

Perhaps the problem lies between the chair and the keyboard.
- Clever dickmouth, but you offered no solutions.CygnusZero4
- True, true, but I think you were giving up because you didn't know, not because it's not possible, or easy.brains
