ok here is the deal... i do have some very nice headphones... BOSE noise reduction... but when you are working on stuff with your partner that seats behind you and you are talking while doing some work. headphones dont work.

um...Bose sucks major rooster. What you need are open phones, NOT closed or noise canceling so you can enjoy your music AND talk to your partner.

^ I hear ya, J...but exposing your colleagues to music they do not want to hear is not the solution. In that case, you'll just have to go without.
Once again, I applaud your musical taste and desire to share, but in the end, keeping it to yourself is just the polite thing to do. In the future, like I said, just ask if they wouldn't mind, and/or just wait for the end of the day/week to crank it.
