Overall nice > the coffee cup handle and steam are a little bit difficult to make out. Perhaps a little bit larger and or stylized.

i really like your concept - but i agree the type isn't the best fit. maybe something like this could be nice:

i also think that the type could look better if it was in colour, and possibly using some overprint colours like this?

the cup's details are too small, thus not visible what it is about from a distance. you must make the cup more obvious and perhaps make the name less black/bold/extended'ish....

The typeface is really ugly, the proportions are so shitty...
And why is the logo U only slightly different from the letter U in Union? Its not different enough (or not the same enough) so it ends up looking like you got lazy and didn't finish... nice simple idea though

i didn't mind the typeface, but i think u could go back to ur original idea and tweak the execution.

Wow I was just working in my neighborhood and I saw this coffee shop sign up! It looks like he went with the version that reads like "onion".
See that happens when you don't check back on your threads and misses all the good critiques.
By the way, it's great coffee. I recommend the Latte.
