you can put web stuff you use all the time in dashboard, since that is all that dashboard widgets are really. i have the nextbus site in a widget so i don't have to load it in a browser. just right-click any page in safari and select open in dashboard. or, if you can build web sites, you can build widgets yourself.

The only thing I use my dashboard for is the calculator. Other than that nope.
Anyone recommend any must have widgets design related?

see, i never really understood... why use dashboard for calculator, stickies, dictionary etc. when there's duplicate OS X apps.
i keep them all in my dock, seems easier and more convenient than flipping back/forth into dashboard.
- ie. need calculations while working in illustrator... i open the app and keep ontop of my 2nd monitor.inkpink

Why not just use spotlight for things like calculations and dictionary?

I use the usual calculator, calendar, weather, unit converter, but also iStat (to watch temps during renders), and a timetracker that automatically logs my hours onto my bookkeeping software and invoices (if I want). It's magic.

I use somethings in there.

Occasionally useful, but I recently found this, which is really nice: http://tobiasahlin.com/blog/intr…
On a similar topic, I've yet to find a good use for Spaces. It seems like a good concept, but Command-Tab seems to work fine for me. Is there anyone who can't live without it?

I never use mine, but I periodically hit the Widget key and get annoyed.
