^These font issues are mentioned in the release notes http://support.apple.com/kb/HT38…
* an issue with font spacing
* an issue in which some Fonts are missing
* font duplication issues
* an issue with some PostScript Type 1 fonts not working properly

Speaking of the letter X, I'm thinking about getting an Xbox.

Hahaha... so you people rushed to the stores on Apple's signal and bought software you've been afraid to open since?
You just couldn't wait, could you? :)Steve Jobs was announced "CEO of the decade" for a reason!
* I got SL too :)

The only big issue for me was that SL finally broke the free version of Linotype Font Explorer. The updated Pro version is €99.

Some of the font issues have cleared up for me.

^^ I noticed that some fonts in the UI was only displaying the anti-aliasing, not the actual letters. Those fonts are now displayed. There are other font issues I've had that are more related to working at IBM in a dominantly Windows environment.

Eh, I'm still on 10.5.6. Works fine, see no reason to upgrade.

My experience. The third disc they sent me worked after the first two did not. After the upgrade, PS, Safari and the finder were slower than previously, never mind printer and font issues. Solution was to re-install and archive to get back to 10.5.8 - took a coupla days getting everything back, reinstalling shit. Lost some stuff.
All in all, not recommended.
