Old site was far better.

It's aight. I like how it kind of recreates the feel of a Flash site with HTML/ JS. Some weirdness on the detail pages since the movies take a while to load but in many cases there is no indication. The opening page could be a lot more compelling.

interesting, but clean to the point of blandness.... I do wonder how the JS affects SEO

Reminds me of hugeinc.com without tons of text just tons of huge images.

Not a fan of the "fill up the whole browser" mentality for information heavy sites

nice that it adapts to different browser sizes.
Feels really big though. hard to scan for information @ 1280px.

If you're not going to do a Flash site, at least find a way to keep it from scrolling down that far. It's not 1996.

Utopian...funny you mention that, looking like hugeinc.com.
Are they not owned by the same parent company now?

I like the site interaction in general...pity they've never heard of leading though....

I rather like the redesign. The old site (the Flash one) had a severely limited interface and functionality. This new site has an incredibly well thought out front page that provides nearly instant access to all the compelling content. It's clean. It's easy to find what you're looking for. Makes nice use of jQuery. The scaling is actually useful (and novel). I do wish the separate sections had their own RSS or Atom feeds though.
Bravo R/GA. It's not often I'm impressed by a studio's web presence.

I'm not convinced about these sites that look like blogs for giants.
