One or the other, and no changing sides!

Awesome! I asked the same question on here some months ago and got zero response. Scott 4 and Tilt are probably the pick o’ the bunch.

there is actually a band named Scott 4. I think that may be the best band name ever.

years ago when it was still novel to have a play list on your web site, I had a bunch of Scott stuff on our site, including "it's Raining Today", "Montague Terrace" and "Plastic Palace People". My proudest moment was when someone wrote me an email a year or so later and said, "Thank you for turning me on to the music of Scott Walker"
- also "farmer in the city"and "the patriot"hallelujah

He is definitely an acquired taste. I always get strange looks when I play him at work.

I dont know.. I've been asking myself these questions... I love when he sings Mitlda, and Jackie.. .Tilt was ok, and with his newer stuff, all the avant garde sounds.. like the drift. I could see why people would call him a genius, but some of that shit is way too hard to listen to for the casual music fan. I would imagine you really need an appreciation for orchestrated sounds, beyond just "noise".
