Buffalo Alcohol $$

Just a question. Anyone know if its cheap, or expensive to buy alcohol in buffalo?
I ask because i recently went home to minnesota and i got a couple 1.75 litres of vodka for 12.99, and 18.99. Buying something like that here in toronto would run you around $60.
I am heading to Buffalo next month and am wondering if I should be excited to head to the liqueur store. Are the prices similar to what I got in Minnesota?

I cant load up at the duty free store though because of limit on bringing across the border.
Anyone know what happens if you bring more than your allowed across the border?

lol.. i would like to stock up for partying over the next 6 months, so i don't have to pay these ridiculous Canadian/Ontairo prices. $40 difference is way too much on a bottle of vodka!

being from buffalo...i say buy a case of labbatts on the tonawanda rez. be sure to wear your bills sweatshirt while doin it.
