designing a site right now for an architecture firm that designed a pretty sweet backyard. Has a little bit of Italian feel but certainly more modern.

Big tomato vines twined on a trellis ala Godfather. Maybe some grape vines as well.

if u really want an italian-esque yard you probably mean something tuscan, trellisis, vines, old bricks, small patios, iron tables and chairs, basil, rosemary, tomatoes, figs...maybe a big fat cat named butch.
