I thought Kimbo had retired.
I put out a challenge for him to come and taste my knuckle pies and he announced his retirement almost immediately afterwards.

chossy who do you think will win? I recon Nelson wins it but Kimbo puts on a good performance. nelson is a fat fuck
- Kimbo. It will go a long way and get a bit romantic, lots of cuddling etc, but Nelson will collapse first.Orbit

Yeah, Nelson is a prick, arrogant and doesn't like being coached. Kimbo should win it, Roys stand up is average and Kimbo looks to be getting better at ground defense and keeping the fight standing.
I think kimbo will win this TUF, clearly the only test is roy and the other tall black guy who does that spinning back fist we all saw in episode one, if kimbo gets past roy then everyone else will be a cake walk.

Roy Nelson looks way washed up. However, i did watch a couple back catalogged fights of his from when he was at the top of his game and... well, the guy definitely has experience.
I think that will be the deciding factor in his fight against Kimbo. If Kimbo has improved upon his game as a striker and overall mma fighter at all though he could definitely sweet the out-of-shape, flab-star Nelson.
- His opponents were crap dude, he had a ground game v mir and it was average.chossy
- He tanked brad imes but brad looked shite, and he got ass whupped by arlovski.chossy
- I never said he was good, just that he has the experience :Dd_rek
- folk think he did well with arlovski on the ground but fuck since when was arlovski a ground fighter?...chossy

Bunch of fags fighting and wrestling with each other. Ill pass.
- chossy0
Yeah he defo has experience, I guess you can tell I hate the guy he he :/ I just hate his aloof attitude!!, you are right he has had a few fights though.

nelson is a douchebag.... i seriously hope kimbo puts a beatdown on him.... but nelson has some skills.... so it'll be a nice test.
gotta root for the MIAMI hometown boy.... as much as kimbo has a LOOOT of work to do, i hope he kicks this guys ass!

i bet Big Cuntry wins it. Solid wrestling and using his weight to wear out and lay on top of kimbo the whole fight. Hate to say it, but thats how i see it.
And then Dana eats his hat and puts kimbo on in the ufc anyhow. He announced last week that Kimbo will get ufc bouts.

You lot all sound about 12.

I want Kimbo to win and make it through so then he can keep getting shit kicked in the UFC.
Peace

Well that was fucking boring. Wasn't impressed nelson at all either. Kimbo looked sharper, he was just clueless about what to do on the ground.
How does this show work anyway? How do guys get eliminated?
- Who won? Can't be bothered to watch or check it out.Andrew_D

Yeah I missed it too, fill me in, TBO. :D

Nelson won by TKO in 2nd round, basically by laying his 265 odd pounds across kimbo's chest in a full side mount and doing nothing particularly interesting afterwards. Kimbo did a stellar job of burying he head in Nelson's hip and not much else, letting Nelson rain a couple of ineffectual punches on top of Kimbo's head to no visible effect. Fight was stopped because Kimbo couldn't get out from under Nelson and wasn't doing anything.
Pretty lame. Kimbo definitely looked sharper stand up though. Had zero ground game, except one really interesting attempt at a reversal using the fence to ladder over Nelson in the first. Didn't work, but points for creativity I suppose.
- Looked like both didn't want to lose the fight as opposed to someone wanting to win it.TheBlueOne
- That's disappointing. Glad I wasn't watching.ismith

I saw a quote on Sherdog.com by Kimbo saying that was his best fight to date and that he's focusing on his fight in December for the TUF final. I respect the man or any of them on the show, but he's not UFC material.
- Well, it was probably his best opponent to date, and that's why he feels that wayTheBlueOne

agreed. LAME

..and rampage and rashad are shitty, uninteresting coaches.
- Dana white could sell ice to Eskimos. Although, if the sport doesn't live up to his hype, it won't mean shit.Andrew_D
- Rampage is terrible. Any iota of respect i had for him has totally vanished with the last couple episodes. dumbassbaseline_shift
- I totally disagree. I LOVE Rampage. He's got tons of personality and he's a great fighter.chuparosa

Nightmare!, kimbo is terrible on the ground ha ha!! Roy is still a total prick. I liked the interview with dana afterwards how he thought his daughter hit like roy!!!!.
Roy defo. won this fight fair and square, Kimbo did nothing when he was on the ground to defend himself and roy tappy tapped his head to victory.
I don't think I'll be watching this TUF unless kimbo comes back.

The sport in my humble opinion has greatly advanced and single skilled fighters like Kimbo Slice just simply cannot compete with the well round fighters like Machida or even the likes of Keith Jardine or Forest Griffin... However, Kimbo is a beast, could potentially knock out anyone in the octagon (including) Lesnar and kinda freak show... People want to see him fight... I originally thought after hearing he would be on the show, he'd be this ghetto ass ignorant non-committed fighter... Surprisingly, I think Kimbo, despite his loss is impressing some and making new fans (which makes him more marketable in the UFC). At first, I wanted to see him get his a$$ beat down (and was true to the sport), now I want to see him mentored and molded. He sounds like a decent guy, somewhat spiritual and such who just happens to have the ability to punch a hole through your face. My opinion of him has shifted from his tyson like celebrity fighting in the now folded XFC. I hope he does well and learns some ground game. On a side note, Rampage is a terrible coach (any and all season), but hilarious and entertaining. Glad they are focusing more on the fighters and the training than the side antics of people like Junie Browning and frat house like pranks.
